A friend recently shared with me Tudor Bismark’s preaching about African’s religious fanatism to the neglect of wisdom in TDJakes’ church in the US.
After watching the video clip, which echoes the point I’ve been making for a while now, to the chagrin of blind fanatics, I’m left feeling hopeful that there are still a few sensible realists left in the world who appreciate the fact that religiosity neither puts food on the table, nor heals diseases, industriousness does.
The point has to be established, that no matter how many times one shouts religious slogans at places of worship or responds to daily greetings with religious claptrap, nothing changes until brains and muscles get to work.
Let’s get to work, Africa!
I wish to state that I am a very religious christian ,but sure not a religious fanatic.
Trust me, I am angered most times when I listen to people, watch them act,and view others on television,I only say to my self; Africa has children most of whom have lost their way.
Listen to the preachings about some one being responsible for another’s progress without a single attempt of knowing the particular person’s own conduct .
Blind men are leading blind men. I guess their destination will not be in doubt.
Most of Africa’s leaders need direction before they can lead.
