The clouds are gathering again
To bring pain
And havoc
Not quite a full day yet
They took my roof
And that of my neighbour
And our joys went along with it.
Four years ago,
My neighbour lost her farm,
Children,
Livelihood, and clothes,
When her window opened its arms
To the wrath of nature.
A place once full now lies in ruins,
And silence whispers of all she’s lost.
