Gold Fish
The Goldfish is naturally greenish-brown or gray. Originally native to East Asia, Goldfish is an ornamental aquarium and pond fish of the carp family. Goldfish can now be found in other parts of the world.

There are over 125 classes of Goldfish varying from black, spotted, golden, white, or white with silver. Goldfish is omnivorous, as it feeds on plants and small animals. When in captivity, Goldfish may dwell on mosquito larvae, cereals and crustaceans. In wild life, Goldfish may grow from about 5–10 centimetres (2–4 inches) to a length of up to 30 centimetres.

Gathering Clouds and a Storm

The Frustrations
Day in day out since after the storm began, fishermen go to sea and return with empty nets and tears in their eyes.

Since the disappearance of Goldfish from the turbulent Ghanaian waters, peace has been an elusive commodity. Family ships have been capsized and captains have lost their bearings. The anchor no longer holds.

Many people in the Gold Coast now eat their meals without fish and homes are collapsing because the largest gold vault where they drew values to put food on their families’ has been shut.…

Displacement
The violent storm displaced various people including Goldfish! By the time the year 2018 ended, Goldfish was nowhere to be found…

Friends and associates began to feel more incensed. Demonstrations erupted across the country in attempt to get Goldfish come out of hibernation to refund gold deposits. No success. Goldfish was subsequently declared wanted with the international fishing police placed on red alert. Not long after that declaration, word came around Goldfish was cooling off in a desert cooler!

Temporary sigh of relief.

Search Party
The state dispatched national fish experts to the desert to ascertain the truth in the revelation that Goldfish was languishing in the desert and to negotiate an extradition.

Five official fish experts and a number of surrogates arrive at Dubai chauffeur driven to a plush hotel suite. Diplomatic coffee was served as well-manicured hands greeted one another, thanks to Goldfish.

Preparations for frying

While on their journey to the desert to bring Goldfish home for frying, people back home were assembling gallons of oil in readiness to fry Goldfish as soon as the national fish catchers arrive with him.

Bad Day at Sea
Contrary to expectations, the national fish experts returned days later with bad news! Though they confirmed news of Goldfish’s presence in the desert cooler, their nets were too weak to drag him with them back to Ghana for the historic frying. In the meantime, there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth as affected persons continue to eat their nam-less meals…

Consulting the Oracle

The oracle must be consulted to see into the matter to determine how long and painful the Goldfish frying must be.
